No menu presented until I asked for it & they had to find it. Buffet is great if you like everything fried, skip it if you eat healthy. The side items are fantastic (corn nuggets, sweet potato, corn bread, greens). The grilled shrimp was unexpectedly spicy, which is not my favorite, but I ate it anyway so my party would not have to wait on me for another order. The fried fish was very crispy. Nice that all meals include tea or coke and ice cream - service was great too.

I had a great and hearty lunch here today for $8! The country fried steak was the best I've ever had and was not at all greasy as it so often is at other restaurants. The fried okra was exceptionally good and not overcooked. The service was excellent. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm close to Vaiden.

Suggestion tho...there should be two separate fish pans (filets). The waitress is constantly taking fish from the pan(to go or special orders) with a long line of guest waiting. Since there is only a minimum amount dropped at one time...to better serve the present guest would b to have the two separate pans!
